ICT companies can use SMS Messaging Server to query temperature, humidity and other environemtnal items from a remote location. The SMS messages is received through SMS by the SMS messaging server, either through a GSM modem, or else though an SMPP subscription. The message is processed (through a VBScript script or by a C-Sharp application), the venvironemntal device is queried (e.g. a Sensatronics device) and the result is replied to the remote user.
